Our IWF is designed to help our customers cost-effectively achieve signaling convergence from 2/3G networks to 4G networks. It is a standard mobile network component defined by 3GPP that enables seamless conversion between SS7-MAP protocol and Diameter protocol, as well as load balancing and overload protection of signaling interfaces.
It provides a fast track for traditional mobile operators to upgrade their 4G networks and modernize their networks without changing the long-established and long-settled 2/3G mobile core network architecture.
